Jubilation in Okigwe over victories of Tinubu, Uzodinma, Ndubueze, Emeka Okoronkwo at APC primaries

In a grand event to celebrate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Senator Patrick C. Ndubueze, and Hon. Emeka Okoronkwo as Flag-bearers of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2027 General Elections, the People and Party Stakeholders of Okigwe Local Government Area, converged in a joyful and glamorous thanksgiving parley at Chief Acho Ihim’s Residence in Owerri, Imo State.

The Ceremony which was hosted and sponsored by the Legacy Senator, Engr. Patrick Ndubueze, Senator representing Imo North District at the 10th Senate, witnessed large attendance of prominent political gladiators from the LGA and Elders Statesmen from the Zone.

 

Speaking at the event, Senator Ndubueze, appreciated the People of Okigwe for their continuous support, the Government of Sen. Hope Uzodinma and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He went further to highlight ongoing developmental projects in Okigwe Zone, citing the construction of quality link roads, electricity projects, and attraction of over 210 transformers, alongside the ongoing Power Substation Project.

 

The Legacy Senator also spoke on the efforts towards establishment of the Federal University Okigwe, with plans to improve network and internet services across the Zone, reaffirming his commitment to the development of the Imo North Senatorial District.

 

In addition, he promised to make Infrastructure Development, Youth Empowerment, Economic Growth, and Social Welfare major priorities of his second tenure, if re-elected.

 

He concluded by thanking his constituents for standing firmly by him and Governor Uzodinma, urging them to continue supporting the vision for a greater and more prosperous Okigwe Zone.

 

The people of Okigwe expressed great joy and satisfaction over the victory of Senator Patrick C. Ndubueze in the Party primaries, assuring him of their full support and commitment towards ensuring his successful return for a second tenure in the Senate.

 

It was a session of renewed partnership and merriment, with plenty of drinks and food to go round to the satisfaction of all in attendance.
