A tragic incident has been reported in Karu-Jikwoyi, Abuja, where a 47-year-old man, Yunusa Ahmadu Yusuf, popularly known as Buhun Barkonun (AMAC) and serving as the FCT Chief Advocate on Community Development, has passed away.
According to reports, Yunusa had checked into a hotel with a woman identified as Ruth on Tuesday, 8th September 2025. During their stay, he allegedly refused to eat any food and instead consumed alcohol continuously.
On the morning of the incident, Ruth, concerned about his condition, reportedly bought him an energy drink. Shortly after taking it, he slipped into a coma. Efforts by Ruth and the hotel management to rush him to the hospital proved futile, as he was declared dead on arrival.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are currently underway.
