In accordance to the circular issued by the Executive Secretary, Prof. Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu, the approval followed the completion of the Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS) addendum process, which involved academic experts from across the Nigerian university system.
