He noted that despite the short-term challenges being experienced across the country, the Federal Government’s economic policies are designed to foster growth, attract investment, and ultimately improve the quality of life for all Nigerians.

“As a council, we understand the concerns of our people during these times. However, we must also recognize that real progress sometimes comes with temporary sacrifice. We commend Mr. President for his bold decisions, and we encourage our people to remain hopeful and supportive,” the Chairman stated.

In a bid to cushion the effects of economic hardship and improve mobility for residents, the council chairman has announced the commissioning of additional free community buses. This is part of his personal initiative to ease transportation challenges within the area.

“We are happy to inform our people that more free buses will be commissioned in the coming weeks. This is our own way of supporting households, students, workers, and the elderly who depend on public transportation daily,” the Chairman added.

The free bus initiative has been widely praised by residents and stakeholders alike for its direct impact on daily living. With the expansion, thousands more are expected to benefit from the program.

He commended GPS-I for their visit and promised to partner with them on their various activities, which he was very excited about. He also assured the council’s support for the group.

In his remarks, the Coordinator, GPS-I, Hon. Okedara Kolawole, congratulated the Executive Chairman and his team on the successful election.

In his words,” We are using the opportunity of the visit, seeking a partnership with your administration to address pressing issues affecting our party’s grassroots sustainability and community development.
