Nigerian singer Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan, has announced October 24, 2026, as the date of his wedding to his partner, Davita Lamai.
The couple disclosed their wedding date in a video shared on Instagram on Thursday night, accompanied by the caption, “24 October 2026.”
The video, titled “Save the Date,” features a voiceover by one of their children, who reflects on the love and bond shared by the couple.
“When I think about love, I think about my mommy and daddy,” the child says in the video.
The announcement comes months after reports emerged that Zlatan and Lamai had held a private civil wedding ceremony.
According to PUNCH, the couple had informed friends and colleagues about their wedding plans in July while travelling to the wedding of businessman and music executive Soso Soberekon.
Zlatan and Lamai have two children together. Their first child, Toluwalase Omoniyi, was born in 2020, while their second son, Benaiah Omoniyi, was born in 2024.
The October 24 announcement has now provided a date for their anticipated wedding celebration, which is expected to bring together family members, friends and associates from the entertainment industry.
