LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT S.O.S HELP!!!HELP!! ARMED MOB ON RAMPAGE AT LEKKI -AJAH EXPRESSWAY AXIS.

We the entire good people residing at Lekki-Ikate-Jakande-VGC-Ikota-Alesh-Ajah hereby cry out for help against the NOW REGULAR ARMED BANDITS lurking close to traffic lights junctions on the highway. They operate daily around 6.30p.m till 9.00p.m coming from their hideouts in groups with matchets, nail-carrying planks, knives etc to terrorize motorists by waylaying vehicles held up by traffic lights. They surround commercial buses, injure some passengers especially the conductors, seize bags, phones, watches briefcases or other items carried by passengers. For the private vehicles, they smash the windows of those with their Airconditioners on and seize their valuables in a jiffy. Now it’s a daily affair since December 2019.A case on Thursday 6th March happened at the Ikota bridge area opposite ConOil Gas Station. As soon as they wound people and cart away with the bags, they crossed to the other side and went into their hideouts consisting of shanties behind the main highway. At the Ajiwe Police Station, it was heard from those around that it has become a regular incident since the last week of February, 2020. Lives have been maimed, property stolen, fears instilled in the hearts of the motorists! !We are calling on the Hon Governor, His Excellency to return the Rapid Response Squad, also increase the number of the patrolling Police men from 5p.m till later in all junctions after Lekki Phase 1 till Abraham Adesanya. In addition
