The young woman whose body was found dumped after Mpape Junction in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has been identified as Kandoon Louisa Lornumbe, from Benue State.
The deceased was found dead on Thursday morning, May 2, 2024, after the Mpape junction around Abuja top bridge that connects Berger and AYA.

The FCT police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the incident to Punch on Friday said that the Mabushi Divisional Headquarters of the command had evacuated the body, adding that investigations were ongoing to identify the lady.
“Mabushi Division took the body to the hospital yesterday. We have yet to identify who she is. We are still investigating,” she said.
Meanwhile, some friends confirmed her identity in Facebook posts on Friday.
One Ngu Queen Chamber, also from Benue State, said she spoke to the deceased on Thursday.
“U called me on Thursday last week that is been a while u just called to hear from me, I never knew it was a goodbye call. May ur killers never see peace. May ur soul & the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace,” she wrote.
