The vice presidential candidate of Labour Party, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has stated that Labour Party came first in the 2023 presidential election considering the reality of the data from the Bimordal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).
He insists that Peter Obi scored the highest number of votes in the region of eight million.
Datti was speaking during a political program, Politics Today on Channels Television with Seun Okinbaloye.
He said:
“We won the election. We got the highest number of votes in the region of eight million. The lawyers are handling it so I don’t want to give a figure. Nigeria is officially in a state of constitutional crises. We are not realizing that yet. A certificate of return has been issued to the so called president-elect unconstitutionally. There are two interpretation of the declaration made. One is of INEC. One is of the people. The certificate of return issued to Alhaji Tinubu is a dud ceriticate…”
