(Video) Stop abusing Peter Obi – Senator Tony Nwoye warns Gov Soludo

The senator representing Anambra North, Dr Tony Nwoye has admonished the governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Soludo to desist from hurling abuses on the Labour Party presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi.

According to reports, the warning came on the 20th July 2023 at the event hall of Bolton white hotel Abuja where Soludo invited people to a town hall meeting, the Chairman of the event Sir Emeka Ofor started the welcome speech which turned to a second tenure campaign for Soludo.

Offor misfired when he invited the three senators from Anambra state to the podium to make their speeches

He started by telling them that there will no vacancy in Anambra State government house in 2026, that Soludo must complete a second term of office.
He told Senator Ifeanyi Uba to respond first and Ifeanyi Ubah was shy and intimidated as he only chuckled and chickened out with a plastic smile.

The next to speak was Senator Victor Umeh who said he had no governorship ambition, hence no need to respond to that, but that he campaigned for Soludo with the conviction that he will make a good governor, he advised Soludo to create access so that the National Legislators from the State can assist him in governing Anambra State.

The camel’s back broke when the enigmatic, dynamic, fearless Senator Tony Nwoye took the microphone and started by reminding people that it was Peter Obi who gave Willie Obiano the chance to become governor and Willie Obiano, gave Soludo the chance he is enjoying today as a governor.

But Soludo resorted to calling Peter Obi names during his Presidential campaign, which he condemned and told Soludo to stop calling Peter Obi names in the negative or else he will be fought to a stand still in the coming election.

Senator Tony Nwoye told Governor Charles Soludo to his face:

“Tell your people to stop insulting Peter Obi. Okwute is the one who has single-handedly made Nigerians know that the Igbos still exist.”
