A heart-warming moment has gone viral after businessman Stephen Ozioko recently settled five of his apprentices, popularly known as nwaboy, who served him diligently for six years.

The settlement, which reflects the enduring Igbo apprenticeship tradition, saw Ozioko reward each apprentice generously as they transitioned into independent business owners.

According to details shared online, the settlements were as follows:

  • 1st apprentice: ₦20 million
  • 2nd apprentice: ₦20 million
  • 3rd apprentice: ₦21 million
  • 4th apprentice: ₦22 million
  • 5th apprentice: ₦23 million

The gesture has been widely praised as a powerful example of mentorship, loyalty, and wealth creation through structured apprenticeship, a system that has helped many young people rise from modest beginnings to financial independence.
