Three persons arrested for possession of human skull in Ogun State

Men of the Ogun state police command have arrested three suspects in Mowe over alleged conspiracy and unlawful possession of a human skull.

The state police command spokesperson, DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, stated this in a statement released. He mentioned that the suspects were apprehended on January 8, 2026.

“The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspects in Mowe for conspiracy and unlawful possession of a human skull on January 8, 2026,” Oluseyi said

 

According to the police spokesperson, the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta, for further investigation.

 

“The suspects have been transferred to SCIID, Eleweran, Abeokuta, for further investigation,” he added.

 

Babaseyi said investigations were ongoing to determine the source of the skull and the extent of the suspects’ involvement in the alleged crime.
