Soludo suspends traditional ruler for conferring chieftaincy title on Ifeanyi Ubah

The governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo has ordered the suspension of the Igwe Damina Ezeani, the traditional ruler of Neni autonomous community for conferring chieftaincy title on Senator Ifeanyi Ubah without clearance from the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs.

This was contained in a letter issued by the commissioner in charge of the ministry, Mr Tony Collins Nwabunwanne on 8th January.

The monarch was accused of breaking the code of conduct of traditional rulers in Anambra State and was directed to stop parading himself as king of Neni.
