The wife of Osun State Governor, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke on Sunday 11th, August 2024, received a chieftaincy title from Erinmo Kingdom in Osun State.
The event was well attended by friends and well wishers including the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi – Ojaja II, who performed the conferrment ceremony.
In a facebook post, Mrs Adeleke expressed gratitude to all the guests who came from far and near to honour her with their esteemed presence during the event.
She wrote:
I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation to my family, friends, associates and government officials who graced me with their presence at the conferment of the chieftaincy title of ERELU ASOLUDERO OF ERINMO KINGDOM yesterday.
Special gratitude goes out to my amazing husband, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, as well as my mother, the Yeyeluwa of Edeland and Senior Abiyamo of Nigeria (SAN), Chief (Dr) Mrs. Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni and my entire family for their enduring love and unwavering support.
I am thankful to His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife and Arole Oodua, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi – Ojaja II, for your constant fatherly love and valuable advice. Your significant presence greatly enriched the occasion.
A heartfelt appreciation also goes to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Michael Odunayo Ajayi JP, Arowotawaya II, the esteemed Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa and the good people of Erinmo-Ijesa, for bestowing upon me this esteemed title. Your guidance and regal consideration are deeply cherished and I will always be grateful.
I extend my profound gratitude to the Chief of Staff and his wife, Alhaji and Dr. (Mrs) Kazeem Akinleye, for their dignified presence and support.
