Chief David Sabo Kente, Taraba State Governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday, picked the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for the 2023 governorship race amid wide ovation.
Kente, who is the first aspirant from Taraba to pay the N50m required for the forms, said APC was now on the right path and would win in Taraba State.
The philanthropist, popularly known as DSK, was accompanied by party faithful and support groups
He commended his teeming supporters for remaining faithful and resolute to Taraba’s rescue mission.
He expressed confidence in wrestling power from the current leadership in the state, adding that the journey to take over the Government House come 2023, has just begun.
”I will take my nomination form to the emir of Muri to seek his royal blessing ahead of my taking over the leadership of Taraba State through democratic means.
”I urge my supporters to wear their campaign shoes and mobilise maximum support to ensure victory during the party primaries and the general elections,” Kente said.
Dr Umar Dorofi, Director General of David Sabo Kente Gubernatorial Campaign Council, also assured the people of victory at the primaries and general elections.
