A Nigerian woman has shared a disturbing experience in a video, recounting how a tricycle driver allegedly accosted her while she was on her way to the gym.

According to her, the man ‘grabbed her hands and refused to let go.’

She said the incident left her shaken, especially as she had previously been robbed in the same area.

She claimed that in an attempt to free herself, she poured water from her bottle on him.

This reportedly angered the man, who then tried to beat her while insisting he was “only playing.”

She further claimed that the man threatened to deal with her and sped off when she attempted to record him.

The woman added that after reporting the incident to the police in Awka, and paying a registration fee, she was allegedly asked to pay ₦200,000 to “mobilise” to take action.
