Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has paid a courtesy visit to prominent Niger Delta leader and traditional ruler, Mujahid Asari Dokubo, at his palace in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Wike disclosed the visit in a post shared on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, where he described Asari Dokubo as a long time friend. According to the former Rivers State governor, the meeting took place at the palace of the Amanyanabo of Torusarama Piri.

During the visit, Asari Dokubo reportedly reaffirmed his political support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to back the President’s reelection bid. Wike said the traditional ruler explained that his decision was motivated by a desire to reciprocate what he described as the President’s support to him during a difficult period in his life.
