“Whatever is the argument on whether he was right in collecting the money or not, my consolation is that hundreds of the less privileged in his community are smiling today. For that, I say well done Tanko,” Buhari said.

Sabo was one of Kaduna delegates at the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) where former Vice President Atiku Abubakar emerged as presidential candidate of the opposition party.

Mr Sabo revealed that he shared the monies as follows:

(1) I paid 46,000 naira each to 150 orphans/less privileged ones which amount to the tune of 6.9m plus 100,000 thousand for logistics to the five man committee that will go to their various schools and pay the waec/neco fee which amount to 7m.

(2) I bought 42 customized jersey which includes goal keepers wear, sox and coach track suit at the tune of 3.284,150m

(3) 187 wards executive and eighteen local government executive 1.3m

(4) supporters, elders, women, executive beggars aka maroka 350,000

(4) Danladi Janda 100,000

(5) we later discover (Dogon Daji, Gani, samba boys of Bokana were not among the beneficiaries, so we gave them up to monday to make it available to them.

Thank you the people of sanga for this priviledge opportunity to serve within 22 days.
