Austin Orette Campaign Organization on Sunday reacted to the omission of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Delta South candidate from the final list of candidates nominated by political parties to contest the 2027 senatorial elections across the 109 senatorial districts in Nigeria

‘’Dr. Austin Orette is the rightful candidate for the Delta South senatorial election’’

In a statement entitled ‘’missing candidate name’’, the campaign organization urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to rectify the omission or mistake.

‘’INEC must restore or update its register’’ the campaign organization said.

The statement signed in Owhelogbo by the Director of Public Affairs, Ovie, Omajemite warned the electoral body against wrongful exclusion in the 2027 elections.

‘’Wrongful exclusion will nullify the 2027 Delta South senatorial election completely in court.

The campaign organization praised ADC state and national leaders for their position on the issue.

‘’This is a ploy by INEC and the ruling party to stop the ADC from winning the 2027 Delta South senatorial election’
