The Managing Director of the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA), Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura, alongside the Honorable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Managing Director of Nigerian Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), and other Special Economic Zones stakeholders to attended the Rank Decoration Ceremony of the First set of Special Economic Zones Security outfit officers (SEZSO), of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), which took place at the NAF Conference Center Abuja.
This special security outfit is set-up for the Protection and sustainability of investments made in the Special Economic Zones in Nigeria, which will assure our investors as well as encourage potential investors of the safety of their investments in the Free Zone.
Senator Kaura While responding to questions from the Press, on why the Special Security Outfit was set up? said;
“As a proactive government agency, we will continue to do all our possible best to, provide a safe and friendly environment for our investors to do business with ease in Nigeria. And this is what promoted this proactive step to set up this Special Security outfit, whom are tasked with the protection of investments within the Free Zones across Nigeria.
