The OGBUHURUZO 2027 has joined Nigerians in celebrating this year’s Children’s Day, extending heartfelt goodwill messages to children across the nation, particularly those in Nkwerre, Isu, Njaba, and Nwangele Federal Constituency.
In a statement released to mark the occasion, Chief Dr. Emeka Magnus Onyemetu described children as the foundation of a stronger and more prosperous society, stressing the importance of continuous investment in their education, health, and general wellbeing.
The movement also used the opportunity to highlight Chief Dr. Onyemetu’s ongoing philanthropic interventions across the constituency, which, according to community beneficiaries, have positively impacted many families. His contributions reportedly include the donation of buses to support community mobility and youth activities, payment of school fees for students, sponsorship of WAEC, NECO, and JAMB examination forms, as well as scholarship awards to deserving students.
In addition, his humanitarian efforts are said to extend to supporting youths seeking opportunities abroad, assisting with medical bills for the sick, and providing financial aid for rent support to vulnerable households. These gestures have been widely described by residents as life-changing and timely, especially for indigent families.
The Ogbuhuruzo 2027 movement noted that these interventions reflect a consistent commitment to community development and social welfare, adding that such support systems have strengthened trust and goodwill within the constituency.
Reaffirming its message, the group stated that if given the mandate at the National Assembly, Chief Dr. Onyemetu is expected to expand these developmental and humanitarian initiatives further, describing philanthropy as a core part of his leadership tradition.
The statement concluded with a renewed commitment to child welfare, quality education, and inclusive development, while wishing all children in the constituency and across Nigeria a joyful Children’s Day celebration.
