With pomp and pageantry, the Igbo Day celebration 2021 took place today in Lagos State.
The colourful and cultural event was organized by the Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos State Chapter led by its President, High Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, Udochia Ndigbo.
Prominent Igbo sons and daughters were conferred with chieftaincy titles during the ceremony. Some of them include Hon Rita Orji, a former member of House of Representatives who received the title: Nneoha na Uzo ije.
Dignitaries at the event include Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Chidi Anyaegbu (Chisco), Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana, Actor Osita Iheme, Mr Joe Igbokwe, BBNaija White Money, Actress Rita Daniel, Hon. Emmanuel Ugochukwu Nnodim, Mr. Olajide Adeeiran (Jandor of Lagos4Lagos), Hon Jude Idimogu, Iyaloja of Lagos etc.
