A socio-political women organization, Nzuko Umuada Aba has lauded the outstanding leadership qualities of Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah.

Chief Ndubuisi Ogah is the Governorship Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the coming general election in Abia state.

 

Nzuko Umuada Abia whose membership is drawn from all the local government areas of Abia state in a statement on Tuesday, hailed Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah ‘s resilience and commitment to nation-building and development.

 

The statement by the Abia women group was signed by the President, Lady Nancy Nzomuche and Dr. Ifeoma E. Offor.

 

While noting that Chief Ndubuisi Ogah’s invaluable contributions towards deepening democracy in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized, Nzuko Umuada Abia also noted that Chief Ogah has remained unwavering in her pursuit of gender equality and good governance in Abia state and larger Nigeria society.

The southeast women organization further noted that Chief Ndubuisi Ogah’s continued support for human empowerment, community development, and as well passion for good governance.

 

“Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah has remained committed to public service and also dedicated to the advancement of democratic values in Abia state and larger Nigeria. And this illustrious son of Abia has continuously demonstrated his desire to contribute to societal building and development, having industrialized his local community in Isiuakwato local government area, chaired and coordinated professional bodies effectively and efficiently.

 

“Chief Ndubuisi Ogah remained a defender of justice and advocate for the rights and welfare of average Abia people and Nigerians as a whole.

 

“The confidence and widespread acceptance he enjoys among the electorates in Abia state will turn into electoral victory for NDC in the coming general election come next year in the state,”They added.

 

Nzuko Umuada Abia, therefore, threw their weights behind Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah’s gubernatorial bid, describing his recent emergence as the Abia NDC governorship standard-bearer as a beginning of a new chapter of progress and purposeful leadership in the state.

 

The Igbo women expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of Chief Ndubuisi Ogah in driving even development and uplifting local communities in Abia State, through industrialization, building and provision of critical infrastructural projects and amenities when elected as governor come next year.

 

According to the ethnic-nationality body, aside from provision of meaningful socio-economic and infrastructural projects across Okigwe zone, we strongly believe Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah equally possessed the wherewithal to formulate and implement policies to strengthen all relevant Abia democratic institutions of governance when supported to become the next executive Governor of Abia State

 

Nzuko Umuada Abia pledged to rally bulk votes for the NDC gubernatorial candidate, Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah to ensure his total victory in the upcoming main election in Abia state by the independent national electoral commission.

 

The women’s body also used the fora to call on all eligible Abia citizens to ensure they obtain their permanent voters card, so as to enable them exercise their franchise during the forthcoming election in the state.

 

“Every eligible Abia citizens should ensure it register and collect their permanent voters cards (PVC), because, it is the only weapon and power vested on citizens by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to effect a change in government, and vote in credible people to mount leadership saddle in all levels in the country,”They stated.
