The governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim explained that the decision was meant to allow him to reorganise the advisers’ roles for better performance.

He said, “The termination of their appointment was to allow me to rejig and reposition their portfolios with the view to making them more effective and efficient in line with my New Niger agenda.”

He also expressed appreciation for their service and contributions to his administration.

He said, “I appreciate them for their sacrifices and contributions towards the success of my administration and also wish them well in their future endeavours.”

The dissolution formally ends the tenure of all special advisers in Niger State as Governor Bago moves to restructure his administration under the New Niger agenda.
