‘’Sometimes when I discuss with my friends in this administration, they ask me ‘’You Igbos, what do you want?’. I want to tell everyone what the Igbos want. Fairness  and equity which is in the constitution, that is all that we want. Treat us as you are treating everybody else.”

He opined that the Tinubu administration has been unfair to the South East region by appointing only five persons from the region in his cabinet when he picked as much as ten from other regions.
