According to Professor Chidi Odinkalu, this Igbo medical doctor who established the only hospital in the community where he resides in Niger State was kidnapped and murdered by bandits.
He tweeted:
“Dr. Precious Chinedu Emeka was kidnapped by bandits, shot 3 times, macheted early hours of 17th June by #TerroristBandits in Niger State, North-Central #Nigeria. He ran the only private hospital in the community. He is survived by a young son & his wife.”
