I pay over N40 million naira every month for electricity and still buy diesel for generators – Innoson Chairman

The Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Group, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma has disclosed that he spends not less than N40 million naira per month on electricity bill and also buys diesel for his generators to power his vehicle manufacuring factory.

He said this while fielding questions from Ladi Akeredolu on News Night, a Channels TV current Affairs program.

Mr Chukwuma revealed that manufacturers are charged higher electricity tariiff by the government and wondered why they are being made to pay higher bills. He also disclosed that he prefers Nigeria to work for everyone instead of breaking up.

“If you mention Biafra, every Igbo man will react. I don’t want Nigeria to divide. I want us to work together and build Nigeria. It is better we remain together as a country than breaking up in to tiny bits.” Innoson said.
