Festac explosion: Federal Fire Service reassures Lagosians

A pipeline explosion that took place on sunday afternoon has destroyed several lives and properties at the Abule Ado area of Amuwo Odofin within Festac axis of Lagos state. In a swift reaction, the Federal Fire Service has issued a statement to assure people resident in the area of safety of lives and properties. In a tweet from, the organisation maintained that they are on top of the unfortunate situation.

“We are in touch with our men in Fire Stations around Badagry and Festac, we are trying to gather more information as regards the reported explosion in Lagos State, Nigeria. We are on it. Our men are on ground. steer clear of the area. Be safe out there, Safety is not negotiable.”
