Members of the Agbor Gha-Ihun Security Outfit have apprehended a suspected illicit drug dealer, identified as Isioma Anthony, in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State and handed him over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further investigation and prosecution.

The suspect, who hails from Ndokwa West Local Government Area, was arrested at about 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, during a routine security operation carried out by the vigilance group in Agbor.

The substances allegedly found in the possession of Anthony include 40 grams of crack cocaine, 240 grams of cannabis sativa, 12 grams of heroin, and 17 grams of methamphetamine.

Speaking after his arrest, the suspect pleaded for forgiveness, claiming that economic hardship and the struggle for survival pushed him into the illicit drug business.

Reacting to the development, the Chairman of the Agbor Gha-Ihun Security Outfit, Chief Sunny Ibude, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to tackling crime, cultism, and drug-related activities within Agbor Kingdom and its environs.

Chief Ibude warned youths against engaging in criminal activities and the abuse or sale of hard drugs, stressing that the security outfit would continue to work closely with relevant law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and security in the area.

He also issued a stern warning to cult groups operating within Agbor Kingdom and surrounding communities to desist from their activities or be prepared to face the full wrath of the law if apprehended.

The suspect has since been transferred to the NDLEA Agbor Command for proper investigation and possible legal action.
