The Federal government of Nigeria has gone ahead to invite Chinese medical doctors to help curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the country despite disapproval by Nigeria Medical Association and the National Assembly.
The team of 15 Chinese doctors which consists of cardiologists, virologists etc arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at about 5pm on Wednesday and was received by officials of the federal government and chinese embassy. The team will be quarantined for the mandatory 14 days before they commence medical operations.
