Coronavirus: Madrid residents salute health workers

In Madrid, residents stand in their balconies every night to recognize, acknowledge and celebrate health workers in Spain for the enormous sacrifices they are making to help the sick and prevent further spread of Covid-19. The boisterous city of Soain has experienced eerily tranquility following coronavirus lockdown. On Sunday, the number of cases of Covid-19 across Spain stood at 7,753 and 288 deaths. One week ago, Spain stood at 589 confirmed cases and 10 deaths. The Spanish government on Saturday declared a state of emergency on coronavirus.
