Presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga, has kicked against the Country of Particular Concern’ designation issued on Nigeria by the US President, Donald Trump, on Friday, October 31.
Trump in a statement released said the designation became necessary following mass k!lling of Christians by Islamic groups in Nigeria.
In a post shared on X, the US Secretary of State, Rubio, threw his weight behind the decision. Responding to Rubio’s post, Onanuga disagreed with the claim that Christians are being massacred. He stated that Muslims are also being k!lled by extremists in some states in Nigeria.
