Breaking: Bola Tinubu wins APC presidential primaries

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged winner of All Progressives Congress presidential primaries which took place at Eagle Square Abuja by garnering the majority votes.

Tinubu won the keenly contested primaries with a total of 1,271 votes to defeat his closest rival, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi who got 316 votes.

Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba – 1

Ogbonnaya Onu – 1

Rochas Okorocha – 0

Tunde Bakare – 0

Tein Jack Rich – 0

Ikeobasi Mokelu – 0

Void votes – 13

A total of 11 aspirants contested for the APC presidential promaries. 7 aspirants stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu while 1 withdrew from the race for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
