President Bola Tinubu’s aide, Bayo Onanuga, on Saturday mocked former Anambra State Governor and 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Saturday for losing his polling unit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing Anambra governorship election.

Bayo Onanuga who took to his X handle described Obi as “the pontificator” who could not deliver his own polling unit to his party.

“The pontificator Peter Obi loses his polling unit to APC, his candidate beaten in Anambra election,” Onanuga wrote.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) had defeated the Labour Party (LP) at the polling unit of former Anambra State Governor and 2023 presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.

The result, announced around 3:00 p.m. at Polling Unit 019, Agulu Ward 11, Anaocha Local Government Area — where Obi voted earlier in the day — showed the APC candidate, Nicholas Ukachukwu, polling 73 votes, while the Labour Party’s George Moghalu scored 57 votes. The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) followed with 38 votes.
