Ahead of the 2027 Lagos State governorship election, Prince Laja Adeoye and key allies within the party have held a high-level meeting to map out an effective campaign strategy and mobilize support from prominent leaders across the state.

Speaking during the session, Mr. Olanrewaju Ayinde, popularly known as Double, declared that Prince Laja Adeoye stands head and shoulders above other contenders.

He described Laja as a committed grassroots member who has demonstrated unwavering loyalty and dedication to the party over many years. “He possesses the capacity, competence, and character required to lead Lagos and deliver inclusive governance that benefits every resident,” Ayinde stated.

In the same vein, Mr. Amos Ajao, better known as Gov Ajao, urged the youth wing of the party to rise to the occasion. “This is Youth’Oclock,” he emphasized. “We must rally solidly behind Laja, return to our various local government areas and wards, and begin intensive engagement with leaders at all levels.” He further called on friends currently in other parties, especially those who were previously in the PDP to return home, stressing that the party now has a trusted, homegrown candidate who can represent their interests meritoriously.

“We must stop the imposition of outsiders that has repeatedly led to avoidable electoral defeats,” Ajao added. “This time, we will work for our party and for the candidate we can truly vouch for, Prince Laja Adeoye.

”To drive a professional and result-oriented campaign, the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organization has announced key appointments. Mr. Yusuf Fadeyi was named Special Assistant on General Duties, while additional strategic roles include:
* Mr. Sikiru Alebiosu – Campaign Coordinator
•Miss Tolulope (Tolu Agege)- Special Assistant on Party Network (Special Duties)
•Mr Gbenga Aboge – Special Assistant on Mass Media
Miss Aminat Sanusi – Special Assistant on Social Media Engagement
* Mr. Kazeem Ayodele – Special Assistant on New Media Coordination
* Mr. Amos Ajao – Special Assistant on Grassroots Mobilization
* Mr. Olanrewaju Ayinde – Special Assistant on Logistics.

The organization promised that further appointments would be unveiled soon, with a clear commitment to placing “round pegs in round holes” to ensure a seamless and victorious campaign.

The campaign organization further unveiled its strategic slogan called BETTER LAGOS which all the policy directions will be anchored upon.
Prince Laja Adeoye’s Policy Directions:
A Vision for Transformative and Inclusive Governance. #BETTERLAGOS2027
Beyond campaign organization, Prince Laja Adeoye has articulated a clear, people-centered agenda that seeks to address Lagos’ most pressing challenges with fresh leadership, private-sector efficiency, and equitable development areas where he believes the current administration has fallen short through selective projects and insufficient inclusivity.

His key policy thrusts include:

1. Affordable Housing Revolution
Adeoye promises a massive low- and middle-income housing drive through public-private partnerships (PPP), innovative financing models, and sustainable urban planning. The goal is to end the chronic housing deficit, drastically reduce slum proliferation, avoid displacement of indigenous people of Lagos and tackle recurring flooding that threatens lives and property, delivering far more accessible and quality housing than previous efforts.

2. Economic Diversification and Massive Job Creation
Leveraging his experience as a successful real estate entrepreneur and CEO of Fendini Group, he plans to boost entrepreneurship, establish tech hubs, support SMEs, promote tourism, develop the ocean/blue economy, expand agriculture, and create industrial clusters, and IPPs. This comprehensive strategy aims to generate millions of sustainable jobs, empower youth, women, and underserved communities, and significantly reduce over-reliance on federal allocations.

3. Improved Education and Healthcare
He will prioritize accessible, quality education with emphasis on vocational training and digital skills, alongside modern healthcare infrastructure to ensure every Lagosian has better access to quality services.

4. Enhanced Security and Transportation
Adeoye intends to strengthen security through community-based policing and technology-driven solutions. On transportation, he will expand rail networks, build and rehabilitate roads at reasonable costs, modernize BRT operations, and deploy smart traffic management systems to ease chronic gridlock.

5. Civil Service Reform, Environmental Sustainability, and Local Government Autonomy
He plans comprehensive civil service reforms focused on better remuneration, training, and efficiency. Additional priorities include sustainable waste management, environmental protection, and granting full autonomy to local governments for more responsive grassroots development.

6. Run open and inclusive goverment where budgets will not be opaque, prepared, or implemented in secrecy. Prince Laja Adeoye’s overarching promise is accountable, transparent, and inclusive governance that puts Lagosians first. By combining grassroots mobilization with practical, innovative solutions drawn from private-sector best practices, he aims to deliver genuine prosperity, end one-party dominance, and usher in a new era of progress that leaves no resident behind.
