Al-Jazeerah anchor, Mehdi Hassan, has released past videos of presidential aide, Daniel Bwala, saying some damning things against President Tinubu which he denied while on his show.
Bwala was a guest on Mehdi’s Head to Head show and the interaction got Nigerians talking on Friday, March 6. During the interview, Mehdi asked Bwala why he is now speaking for a government he was once against. He brought out several statements Bwala had made in the past against President Tinubu, all of which Bwala denied.
Mehdi recollected the time Bwala claimed that Tinubu and his people created a militia which he claimed was used to attack members of the opposition.
‘’I never said that’ Bwala responded
Mehdi then stated that Bwala claimed that the said Militia group created by Tinubu and his party members tried to k!ll him. Responding, Bwala denied ever making such claims.
“He doesnt have, I never said he tried to k!ll me” Bwala said
Mehdi further spoke about the time Bwala claimed he was unable to eat after President Tinubu ‘’fraudulently’ got into power by rigging the 2023 elections.
‘’I never said that! where?” Bwala responded in shock
‘’What you just said now, I want to put it on record, on my honor, that is not what I said”
In the final footage released, Mehdi added video evidence showing Bwala making the claims.
