A new-born baby girl dumped in a bush in Akwanga town, Nasarawa State, has been found alive and rescued by residents.
The new-born was found on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 along Hope Academy Primary School, in the popular A. A. Koto area of Akwanga.
She was allegedly dumped by her mother identified as a final-year NCE student of the College of Education, Akwanga.

The mother has since been arrested by the police and taken into custody with the help of her friends and schoolmates.
