A 33-year-old man identified as Monsuru Musa, was today October 7, caught writing the FCT Civil Service Commission promotional examination for his father, Musa Mohammed, who works in the FCT Fire Service.
According to Lere Olayinka, spokesperson of the command, when the security deployed at the instance of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, caught Monsuru Musa, he claimed his father was sick but within the NOUN premises, venue of the examination.
He said he was directed by the father to sit for the exam on his behalf.
Asked how old his father is, he said between 67 to 68. But the father claimed he will be 60 by February 2027.
Lere stated that when interrogated further, Musa Mohammed said he finished Secondary School in 1982 and Primary School in 1977.
He added that both the father and son have been handed over to the police for further investigations after they have made their statements to the DSS operatives.
