…say he’s best gift for Akwa Ibom State

The governor of Akwa Ibom State; His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Ph.D, has been described as the best gift to the people of the state. This assertion was handed down by the Chancellor of a socio-political organization known as Umo Eno Volunteers For 8; Hon. Ubong Iyoho.
In a chat with newsmen over the weekend while reacting to the statewide Christmas Home-going, an initiative of the Akwa Ibom State governor, Hon Iyoho noted that the directive was first of its kind from a sitting governor of the state.
“Today, an average Akwa Ibom person can tell you vividly the various humanitarian activities of the state government”, the Umo Eno Volunteers For 8 boss said, adding that the best way to sustain the tempo was to reelect the governor.
Hon Iyoho continued “Just yesterday, Local Government Council Chairmen across the thirty-one local government areas of the state were directed by His Excellency the Governor to hold ‘Home-going’ Christmas meetings in their respective areas with the people at the grassroots.
I was at my local government area, Nsit Ibom and I could feel the pulse of the people. I could feel the excitement; for the first time during Christmas, where the common people at the grassroots would have to meet and mingle with their political office holders at different levels, coming together to interface with them.
This is unprecedented. This is what our people have been yearning for. Apart from the sharing of Christmas largesse, the meeting provided an opportunity for political office holders to tell the people the plans of government”.
Speaking further, Hon Iyoho applauded Gov Eno on his numerous developmental strides and expressed his group’s resolve to mobilize the Akwa Ibom masses for the purpose of ensuring that the governor got reelected.
“Apart from the governor’s humanitarian gestures, we have also seen his strides across all sectors of the state. We have seen road infrastructures, we have seen the governor’s touch on education sector through the building of model primary schools across the state.
The healthcare sector is receiving a boost through the Ambulance services, building and rehabilitation of healthcare facilities in the state, and so forth.
Gov Umo Eno has proven that he is the best gift to the people of the state. Therefore, as an organization, Umo Eno Volunteers For 8 is poised to ensuring that the electorate are fully mobilized for the purpose of reelecting His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno for a second term, come 2027”.
