A Nigerian man who goes by the name Wonda has taken to Twitter to narrate his ordeal at the hands of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives who raided his house in the night.

In a viral video, Mr Wonda warned that any EFCC official who breaks his door next time will become a victim. Expressing his readiness to go to jail, he called out the agency for raiding his house in his absence few weeks back to bully members of the household and vandalize some of his properties.

He said:

“Few weeks ago or barely a month, EFCC came to this house, I was not around. My brother and his friend were around. I traveled, they called me on phone to tell me about it. EFCC no knock, they no do anything, they just broke this door, bullying people, beat them up, broke some properties. See this television, is EFCC that broke it. They destroyed properties here and was just behaving like armed robbers. After everything they did, they took away about 50 people from this compound without any reason or cause…. Now yesterday, armed robbers penetrated this house and they operated exactly like EFCC.

“The same way EFCC did it. They broke down the door, entered this house and surrendered everybody and took away everything. They raided this house. Now my question is, how are you going to differentiate between EFCC and armed robbers because they are operating he same way?  They will just come to your house and break the door and start beating everybody. How can we differentiate them?

“So if you are somebody that is security conscious and mistakenly attack EFCC thinking that EFCC is an armed robber? If EFCC does not mind how they break into people’s house, it is going to result to unforeseen consequences. Because the next person that breaks this door, that person is going to be a victim unless I am not around…. We agree to go jail this life don tire me. The armed robbers robbed everybody in this compound.”

It will be recalled that an operative of EFCC was recently shot dead in Anambra State during a sting operation in Anambra State.
