Channels Television, a mainstream media outfit founded by Mr. John Momoh is currently trending on twitter. Nigerians on twitter are upset that the news station has not covered any of the EndSARS protests taking place in the country. They believe that the “TV Station of the Year” may have been compromised by the Buhari administration not to air the grievances of the citizens. Meanwhile, the police PPRO, Mr Frank Mba was on Channels TV this morning and referred to #EndSARS protesters as clout chasers. Here are some of the protest tweets:

” It’s a shame mainstream media houses like Channels TV and NTA blanked out and avoided covering the #EndSARSProtest So what exactly is their work if they can’t report such big issue of National interest? “
