The governor of Rivers State, Mr. Nyesome Wike took to his official twitter handle this evening to call out the Federal government on the issue of coronavirus lockdown. He accused the Buahri led federal government of playing double standard by allowing the rich to violate the lockdown orders of Rivers state.

“You order poor masses who survive on daily pay to lockdown, but you give corporate bodies license to go about their daily activities and flout a Rivers State government order on lockdown. We can’t let them go free, we would not punish the poor and give excuses for the rich.”
