COVID-19: ABS MD/CEO, Chief Uche Nworah Donates Food Items To His Community

Cognizant of increasing cost of living facing members of his community, occasioned by the sit-at-home directive of the state government, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah, today (Friday, 10th April, 2020) shared food items and cash to people of his village, Umuakwu, Enugwu-Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area.

According to Chief Nworah, the act was in emulation of the far-reaching relief policies initiated by the Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, to keep Coronavirus away from the state, while also helping Ndi Anambra in need to meet their basic requirements.

The Umuakwu people in their separate appreciation, described Chief Nworah as a habitual giver, who takes the needs of his people as a personal burden.

Items shared included packs of noodles, tubers of yams, tomatoes and cash.
