Buhari denies involvement in Sanusi’s dethronement

Mr. Garba Shehu, media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari has in a series of tweets on wednesday absolved the president of any involvement in the removal of Lamido Sanusi as the Emire of Kano.

In one of the tweets, Garba said, “president Muhammadu Buhari has no invovement whatsoever in the dethronement of HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II from the position of Emir of Kano. All such insinuations are untrue, malicious and politically motivated.”
