Barely 24hours after the visit of Sunday Igboho, the palace of the Seriki Fulani of Oyo State, Alhaji Saliu Abdulkadir, was allegedly set on fire by aggrieved youths on Friday night.
The angry youths sent his wives and children out of the settlement and set fire on 11 vehicles and houses in the process.
Chief Sunday Adeyemo, an agitator for Oodua Republic, better known as Sunday Igboho, on Friday visited Igangan, a town in the Ibarapa North Local Government area of Oyo State and declared to his teaming supporters that Fulani people must leave Yorubaland.
He also accused the Fulani community in the area of masterminding abductions, killings, and other criminal activities in Oyo State.
