A prominent student union leader, Hon. Idika Agwu Okpo, has commended the lawmaker representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, for his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and educational development.
Hon. Idika, who served as the NAASS BOT Secretary, Chairman of the Electoral Committee of the National Association of Abia State Students (NAASS) and is the former President NAASS UNIPORT CHAPTER, President General of the National Association of Ohafia Student, praised Rep. Osonwa for his scholarship initiatives, ICT training programs, and agribusiness training targeted at students and youths within the constituency.
Speaking on the impact of these initiatives, Hon. Idika stated: “Rep. Ibe Okwara Osonwa has shown exceptional dedication to the growth and development of young people in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
“His scholarship program will ease the financial burden on many students, while his ICT training is equipping our youths with digital skills necessary for the modern economy. Additionally, his support for agribusiness training is creating opportunities for self-sufficiency and economic empowerment.”
He further urged youths in the constituency to take full advantage of these programs, emphasizing that education and skill acquisition remain the foundation for sustainable development.
