Wife of House of Reps member trends shares sugar cane to empower youths in her community

Hajiya Fatima Aminu Aliyu Garu, the wife of Honorable Aminu Aliyu Garu, a Member Representing Bauchi state Federal Constituency, is trending on X and Facebook over her empowerment efforts. 



According to an X user named Abdulrahmam Sanusi, Hajiya Garu shared a bunch of sugar cane to members of her constituency.

A photo shared online shows Hajiya Garu holding the sugar cane bunches while posing for photos. 



After the photo was publicised, Nigerians found it laughable and questioned how sugar cane would empower the community.
