Eze Charles Iroegbu, the traditional ruler who was recently released by his abductors has narrated how he was thrown into a pit with his cabinet chiefs for 4 days. The unknown gun men mistook them for Ohaneze Ndigbo chieftains.

According to the monarch, the abductors disclosed to them that they were after south east political leaders who have failed the south east agenda. They also promised to deal with the governor of Imo State for betraying the south east.
