The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, attended the traditional wedding of actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla and Tanzanian singer, Juma Mkambala, aka Juma Jux on Thursday.
The star-studded wedding was held at Five Palms, Oniru, Lagos State.
Videos circulating on social media show Adeleke singing on the stage for the couple who danced along.
A week before the traditional weeding in Nigeria, Priscilla and Juma set the internet ablaze with five captivating pre-wedding portraits as they described their love story as “two hearts united as one soul, on a mission to forever.”.
Earlier in February, the first phase of the wedding was held in Tanzania where Priscilla tied the knot with Juma Jux, in a traditional ceremony in line with the groom’s customs.
This was followed by Juma’s second proposal to Priscilla before her “family and dearest friends and with a ring twice the size.”
They also had a civil wedding in Tanzania before heading to Nigeria for the second phase of the celebration.
According to Iyabo Ojo, a white wedding in Nigeria will be held after the traditional wedding, and a grand finale party will take place in Tanzania in May.
The wedding, with the hashtag #JP2025, have sparked excitement among fans, building anticipation for what is expected to be one of the year’s most discussed celebrity weddings.
