Speaking at the Lagos Business School Alumni Conference, presidential candidate of Labour Party Mr Peter Obi has responded to the narrative by Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Soludo that the investment he made for the state as governor is yielding next to nothing.
Obi told audience at the event that:
“When you spread your investments, some will go up, some will come down. Overall, the company is still there. The company is there doing well and it is still part of a global chain. I needed to explain this not because I am defending comments by my brother. My brother is my brother. He remains my brother. We are very close. I am prayerful for him. For other things which i didn’t succeed. God has given him opportunity to do it and succeed. For me, governance you don’t finish, people are still in government in America.”
