The race to 2023 presidential election in Nigeria is becoming more competitive with twists and turns. This has become evident in the manner political party members are abandoning their party candidates for others while remaining in the party.
The latest switch is from a Peoples Democratic Party card carrying member, Mr Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor who jettisoned Atku Abubakar as presidential candidate to pitch tent with Labour Party’s Peter Obi.
Ifaluyi – Isibor who is the coordinator of PDP For Peter Obi group declared his support during an interview with AriseNews Television.
He said:
“As much as I love PDP I intend that their going into 2023 presidential election becomes more difficult because I am with Peter Obi. I intend to have a Peter Obi as president. To be honest with you, I do not care what happens in PDP or APC even as I remain a member.”
